RE: IML: 1960 gauge question

These are in stock at NAPA - it is called an instrument regulator, and I
believe the number is IR-9.

They are cheap.

Thanks a lot Paul!

Can I simply use an electronic voltage regulator of 5 V then (you know, a
so called Integrated Circuit like the 7805 ?)
Or is there a official replacement part available?
If so, do you know (or anyone else on the list) a company that sells them?

Thanks,

Robert
