IML: 81 Imperial changeover

I know a few people on this list have changed 81s from FI to a carburator. What wiring needs to be changed/modified? I understand installing a mechanical fuel pump is all that is needed for fuel supply (disconnect electric pump, but not gauge)...it will pull through elec pump?
