IML: Re:1959 update & Kerry Pinkerton?

Hi;
  Why would you pull an engine, rebuild it, and only install it for the car shows? Would you remove the 413 after the car shows and reinstall the crate engine? It seems like an awful lot of needless work, 413's aren't exactly known for being unreliable once put together right. Another issue is that the cast iron Torqueflyte will not mate up with an engine later then 1962 so you would need to change that as well. On top of that everytime you remove and replace something big like an engine you stand a good chance of breaking something or scratching paint.
  As for Kerry Pinkerton's metal work classes you could alway's ask the man himself, here is his address pinkertonk@xxxxxxxxxxx. I am sure that he could tell you something more.

Subject: IML: Kerry Pinkerton?

hey . I'm back for some info again. looking for info about kerry pinkerton.

I need to know about his metal working classes.

an update on my 59, is that for sometime now I putt it in the back and now it's time to pick up where I left off.
first on the to do list is get the body work in order, thats where KERRY comes in with his class, I can do most basic stuff. but im afraid it's not going to get me by on this project.

I have the original 413 engine rebuilt and running good but im going to install a mopar crate engine in the car and save the 413. that will go back in for car show's only.

thanks for being there when a guy needs a hand>IML .
