Re: IML: Marvel Mystery Oil in NEWER vehicles

I have used Marvel Mystery Oil in my newer Cadillac and it hasnt done
anything to it. I have also used Sea Foam. You pour it down the throttle
body or the carb and when you get about a quarter of the can left you dump
the whole thing down there and let it kill the engine. You wait five
minutes and then put the gas to the floor to un-flood it and let it rev one
good time. I did this to my 58 Buick Limited and it sounded like sand going
through the exhaust and it smoothed the idle out perfect. It was running so
rough the engine shook. Marvel Mystery Oil has never hurt my catalytic
convertors. You have to be sure to drive them afterwards though to get the
system flushed and let the convertor cool.

Hi All...I remmeber my Father showing me about the trick of dribbling water
thru the carb to clean out the gunk/carbon buildup every so often and he
also swore by using Marvel Mystery Oil. I am wondering if anyone has used
MMO is a 'newer' vehicle, like a car or truck from 1995 - 2000? Does it mess
up the fuel-injection system? Or actually help clean it up?
