IML: 65 Crown Speakers: 4 OHM Compatible with 8 OHM Radio???

Chris,
Have your speaker(s) re-coned then you know for sure they match.
Many radio repair shops do this work & it is very inexpensive but best of all it is your speaker & it will work with you system.
I send mine to a repairman in Newberg, Or, & turnaround is about 3 weeks & the last speaker was the front speaker from my 56 Imperial (7" I think), cost for the re-cone was $19.00 plus return shipping.
If you want his contact info email me off list.

Subject: IML: 65 Crown Speakers: 4 OHM Compatible with 8 OHM Radio???

Hello Everyone---

I'm trying to replace the front speaker on my Model
367 Mopar AM/FM radio. I can't locate an 8 OHM speaker
for the replacement as all shops in my area only carry
4 OHM in that size (It's a 7" but I'm going to use a
6.5" with an adapter plate).

I greatly appreciate any advice!

Thanks...
