Re: IML: John Muller in NY Times today

Wow, that's what's great about this list. I'd never have found this article by myself.  Many people in my local Mopar club thought I was gay because of my ballet blue 58 Imperial, a PPA for sure.  I rarely dress more than a few steps above slob and wear a wedding ring, so I'm guessing that was it.  The Imperial always stood out among all their Chargers, Barracudas and GTX's and it was always the car they wanted to put the club magnetic sign on as well.  There was some shock, therefore, when I finally managed to drag my wife and daughter to a club event.  Although I had not even noticed it, I was delighted when folks said, "but we thought you were . . . "  It says a lot for the local club that this issue only became a "problem" when it turned out it wasn't true.  It's great that special clubs exist but also that Mr. Muller also enjoys success at general entry clubs as well.

Greeting, fellow Imperial lovers --

Please see the link below for a story about gay-oriented car clubs.  The only car specifically mentioned, and also shown in a photo, is a '54 Imperial owned by John Muller.  If you are not already registered with the NY Times, go ahead and do it.  It's free and does not, to my knowledge, generate any spam.

Happy motoring,

David
