Self-Introduction: Hi all, I bought this car on ebay last year after falling
in love with its awesomeness... 50t's meets 60t's look! and although seller
bragged it to be in condition 1... on veiwing i found this to be untrue,
most dissapointed,doh! never the less i bid him down on price and drove her
home. Oh dear, what have i done... the brakes were snatching one way, the
electric windows work when they feel like it (no driver side motor or mech'
???) B'std i thought! dail gauges faulty... aircon/no fluid....(cant buy it,
so i removed system and fitted twin electric fans due to cronic overheating)
oil pressure reading high always, ???. But this motor looks the dogs nuts!
steel is vgc as is the chassis. After 6 months the trans seals shot and she
bleed to a coma.. i am waiting or a repair kit at this time. Hoping to get
her up n doing it for a run to a local rockin event (150miles r/t) the rythm
riot. if any one out there can help source parts i need or info on spec
repair, i would b t have it sit in my yard wasting away. thanks, steve.
