RE: IML: Members near Hurricane

Power just got restored for us in South Florida yesterday late in the
day.  The lights went out on Thursday night as the storm approached. Boy
am I happy to have A/C and hot water again.  

I would expect that power should begin to return to MS and LA in a few
days if not a week or two. (After Hurricane Andrew we were without power
for over three weeks and we were outside of the primary devastation
area.) 

I would start to worry if we haven't heard from them by Monday or
Tuesday.  In the days and weeks after a storm like Katrina, your biggest
concern is cleaning up and getting basic supplies. To this day, I can
only remember events as happening either before or since Andrew. 

Our prayers are with those that saw the meaner side of Katrina and the
waves.  What a tragic circumstance. 

Official Imperial Content: Exotic Auto Transport is scheduled to pick up
my convertible from Nebraska on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.  I am
anxious to see what I bought!
