Forgot to add, on the plastic buttons that hold the trim mouldings....check
with stores that carry supplies for auto painters and the like. Obviously,
get some new ones before you remove any old ones. I didnt remove any of
them this spring, I had two broken ones and was able to use a more modern
metal clip that attaches to the chrome molding and had a nut on the
backside. That only works where you have access to the back of course.
On the driver side mirror, the mirror should just be screwed to the fender
and the big problem is fishing the remote control cable out of the interior
and out the hole. The electric antenna in front has an access panel at the
rear of the fender opening, at the front where the door hinges are look
around that area.
