Mark, other than doing it by braille you have one other option.  Remove that 
vertical piece that is directly in front of the front tire.  It bolts to the 
radiator core support and to the inner fenderwell.  Probably has 6 or so 
bolts that hold it on.  Once thats out of the way, its easy access to 
everything back in that area.  I dont remember just how much it attaches to 
the lower part of the fender where the bumper extensions are, but its easy. 
Had them off when I painted my 62 this year, made getting at all the trim 
fasteners and chrome a whole lot easier.
