RE: IML: Head Lights



The horn is an inductive load (meaning any switch or relay has to deal with
a big spark each time the horn button is released).  The headlights are a
pure resistive load, which is the easiest thing to switch.  All cars use a
relay for the horn switching for this reason.

Very strange that the factory did use a relay for the horns, but not for
the headlights.
I wonder why ?
