The first thing I would check is to be sure they are adjusted properly. This 
can be a bit  tricky if you haven't done it before on a 60-62. All 
adjusters, with the exception of the rear most ones on the rear wheels 
tighten in the direction of the wheel forward rotation. the rear most ones 
on the rear wheels tighten opposite the forward rotation. There are 
illustrations of this procedure in the service manual.

   Did they release properly before work was done?
