I also ordered a set of Diamond Back triple ww last month. They vulcanize a new ww on modern radial tires. The price varies by what quality of radial that you purchase to start with. They have some radials that are narrower, and therefore look closer to the profile of the original bias-ply tires. For more money, you can have Mitchelin Radial tires with the triple ww. I had a bad experience with triple bias ply tires from Lucas Automotive - which so far Lucas has not stood behind.
I therefore decided to go for broke and go with the Mitchelins. A set of five is about $300/tire (OUCH!). They have lesser radial tires with the correct ww for around $200.
I believe I have a spare original center convertible boot that you can use to make a copy. The boot has shrunk, so you will need to make adjustments. Email me off line.
