Re: IML: IML-Webmonsters: Seeking a mechanic

Hi Alan,
I can recommend a couple of things. If you were to sign up on the Imperial Mailing List, you would find many knowledgeable members who would likely have referrals for your local area. Our website doesn't yet have a facility for the listing of local repair shops, only for parts vendors. More info about signing up on the IML is at http://www.imperialclub.com/IML-specific/imlsubscribe.htm

Our website has a lot of good technical info about the AutoTemp systems at http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Air/index.htm
Seat belt replacement is a simple job for any body shop or seat cover shop, unless it is a body rust trouble which is a little more labor intensive.

I hope this helps.

Subject: IML-Webmonsters: Seeking a mechanic

Hello,

I have a '73 4-door hardtop that needs a little help. Specifically, the Auto Temp is kaput, and the rear seat belts need replacement. I live in metro Boston, and I've been seeking a trusted old-Mopar mechanic without any luck. Can the Club offer any advice?

Thank you,
Alan Petrillo
