Re: IML: Substitution tapered axle on my 1956.

Hi Kevin, the restoration on my 1956 is in slow motion, so far I only have taken all the interior off the car and also the hood, which needs some work, its opened up while driving. Before getting involve with the mechanical I must do some bodywork, mainly on the left front side of the floor, which needs a new panel.
I have been thinking to swap my tapered axle for a newer one, but to tell you the true, I am not sure if I will do it or I leave the car with its own axle.
For the front disk I know I had a company name which ads for a kit on these cars, but I had it in my old computer, which needs some work before I will be able to take information from it. What is your idea on a newer axle?
Greeting,
Luis Villar
