For rust prevention, there's this goopy stuff that comes in a can - I can't remember the name but it's something like MD-80 or WD-40, without being either of those things... I've heard good things about it. For sound and to a lesser extend heat insulation, there's a product called Dynamat - it's a soft metal sheet bonded to a layer of thick, sticky tar-like substance. It works great, but it's kinda pricey. -Kle. '69 Crown 4DHT
