Another option might be to drill out the pin openings and install a bushing.
For my '68 Barracuda, I went with Acme rebuilt door hinges. They have a
hollow stainless pin with a grease fitting so you can lube the hinges. I
don't know if he's done the conversion on earlier cars, but it might be
worth looking into. His website is superbirdbob.com.

If you remove the hinges and slot the holes you will be able to adjust it
straight up mostly and keep your openings correct. New Hinges would be
better but what are the chances? You could also look at drilling and
refitting oversize pins, Hard Bolts would even do the job for many years,
