This topic has been discussed at length before, but I'll put my recommendation in for Hagerty (http://www.hagerty.com/) since it's the only collector car insurance agency I have any experience with. When my '71 Imperial was a daily driver, I had it insured with State Farm for several years. I seem to recall paying something around $1000 per year for insurance. When I switched to Hagerty, I got a comparable policy for all THREE of my Imperials for only $135 per year (this includes roadside emergency service/tow). I haven't had to make a claim, but their service so far has been great. And I think the math is self-explanatory.
