Re: IML: 62 head light switch.

Marty:
Disconnect your battery first. Then, reach your hand up inside the dash until you find the backside of the switch housing. This is not quite as easy as in other  cars. The release button for the knob is either on the top or driver's side of the housing: I forget which side.  In any event, you will need to depress this button while pulling the knob/shaft out. Once the shaft is removed you will have access to the nut that holds the switch to the dash. You will possibly find that with some cleaning you will be able to repair the switch. I just fixed mine up a month or so back. Good luck! Alex-63 Crown

Hiya to one and all. I have not had for long my 1962 Crown
Southampton, and I need your help and suggestions. The head light switch
knob turns but will not pull out. It is stuck big time. Has anybody had
this happen before, and next how do you remove the switch, what's the
easiest way to access it. any help would be cool.
