Hi GFSers, Some time ago, GFSer Gary Graber told us of his brother, John's passing and that his collection of cars would go to auction. His '58 Fury Golden Commando and vintage Corvettes are part of that collection. Gary has received a firm date for the estate auction. It is June 25 and will be held at 61692 County Road 7, Elkhart, Indiana. The car has not been run in 20 years but has been stored in a climate controlled indoor facility. Gary says the body is excellent, as is interior. Rear seat still has original clear plastic seat cover. A 383 motor is currently installed but the original 350 motor, though torn down is available with the car. If questions, call Gary at 812-486-5010. Also, on ebay is the restored '57 Fury once owned by GFSer, Gene Vondereau. Bids start at 57.7K with a buy it now of 59,9K. Ebay item number is 391415296039. At the 2004 GFS gathering at Carlisle, I was given a ride in this car from the hotel in Harrisburg, out to Carlisle, fantastic car then, looks to be in same shape now. Has 61K original miles.
