Kenny J.'s Excellent Big M Adventure
Author: Kenny J. (Show all albums)

I took a drive up to one of the places where Forward Look cars go to die and donate their parts for the others still on the road. Here are some pictures from my May, 2009 visit.

Front view of the '61 Chrysler.

Another view of the '59 Pontiac hardtop.

There must be a plant somewhere, still cranking out '61 Chryslers. Here's another one.

Another thistle on its way up and out.

Another view of the "hidden" Fury.

Tail end of the '56 Olds and also an early '60s Mercury. There seem to be more '57 and '58 Plymouths in this yard than any other type of vehicle.

Some goodies inside the engine shed.

An ill-fitting trunk lid. The torch (flash light) tail light is already gone.

Here's a '61 Plymouth parts car.

The other side of the '59 Plymouth four door hardtop.

The tail end of the '60 Desoto.

How often do you see a '59 Plymouth wagon equipped with a regular trunk lid?
