Location: Upper Darby, PA		Hank Fiolet (near Melbourne, Australia) needs a '59 Plymouth steering wheel. I have one to give him, no charge! It needs a little work; but with the onerous shipping charges from the U.S. to Australia, the overall cost may not be worth it.

Any chance someone from Down Under is in Carlisle for the Chrysler Nationals this year? The steering wheel measures 17" in circumference, and is 6" deep - it would take little room in a suitcase packed with dirty laundry Let's help a fellow Forward Looker out!

Location: So. Cal		Contact NicksGarage on here. Maybe Michael can help you out. I am shipping large parts to Australia from here. If Michael can't help you, I can contact the buyer to see if he is willing to add it to his stuff, but you would have to ship it to me in Los Angeles first. I'm not sure how much that would really save you in the end.

Location: Upper Darby, PA		Thanks Nathan. Shipping to the left coast has to be cheaper than shipping to Melbourne, but I'm still hoping someone can stash it in their luggage after visiting Carlisle. If no one steps up, I'll give Michael a shout.

Location: Perth Australia		What are you calling onerous? Shipping for that wheel (unless sent in a sea container) will be from US$100 to US$150 from
my experiance. Its just the cost of things and I would be happy to get a good wheel for what will price out at AU$170 to AU$250.

Location: Upper Darby, PA		As I mentioned, the wheel needs a little work; cracks filled in wheel, horn rim perhaps needs replating (unless he can live with minor pitting), a ding in the center emblem that needs finessing. I said "overall cost" - meaning, to pay shipping and then to pay to do the work I outlined may not make it an attractive offer to him. Free overseas shipping sweetens the pot.

Mick is right..& Personally I wouldn't put it in a box... just bubble wrap it well , thick & tightly ..affix a hanging tag for address & customs declaration..prob cost $80 to send..
