Good morning, Im on the hunt looking for 1960 T-85 3 speed transmission. It will have a brake drum on the back of the trans.

In 1960 there was an A754 HD trans used on trucks and big block cars. AFAIK there was no T-85 available until 1962.

Ive heard mixed transmissions info. Actually the T-85 trans came out in the mid 50'S. And it was used on a bunch of other make cars. Was it just not used on the chryslers--Mopars till 1962 ??

Maybe I should be looking for a A-745 transmission

According to CURBSIDE CLASSIC the A 745 did not come out till 1961

There is a interesting article on there web site will pictures and a good explanation.
