Veteran Posts: 131 Location: Wyoming | I regret that I didn’t specify the pulley I need was for a Mopar V8. I didn’t specify bolt pattern because I’m under the impression that all Mopar V8s prior to at least 1970 used the same (asymmetrical) 6-bolt pattern for the crank pulley (Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler, Plymouth, small block, big block, hemi) - only difference is the depth and diameter of the pulley for different engines and different accessories. Other members that have more knowledge than me are welcome to chime in if this is not the case. The crank pulley I need is for a 57 Dodge 325, which I believe is actually not important. Only one groove is needed, at the 2 1/2” mark as specified, but others might work too, I just need one belt groove at 2 1/2” - my preference is that is the only belt groove. The 6 1/8” is the diameter of the largest part of the pulley, at the top of the groove - if there’s a better way to state pulley dimensions, I’m honestly unaware of it - please educate me.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9908 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . I think you are looking for a 1674 744 pulley which is described as "w/o Power Steering, Single Groove, 6 1/8" O.D., S27, LD2, 57-58 Dodge, 57 Desoto ( Firesweep)" That might help you searching for used parts in wrecking yards, e.g. French Lake Auto Parts in Minnesota Big M in California Wildcat Mopars in Oregon

Veteran Posts: 131 Location: Wyoming | Thanks for the eBay link - saw that one already and just trying to avoid using a 1/4” spacer to have it align. Much appreciated. I assume there are folks out there with boxes of miscellaneous Mopar pulleys, etc. they’d like to sell. Hoping one of the sees this ad.

Last time I checked 2 3/8" was only 1/8" away from 2 1/2". Based on that accurate looking wooden ruler, it might really be the one you need. Or only a 1/8" aluminum spacer away. https://www.ebay.com/itm/335230227635

Veteran Posts: 131 Location: Wyoming | Appreciate the part number, Dave - should simplify the search. Hoping there are other non-1957 pulleys that won’t interfere with idler and will line up, because I suspect finding the exact part number is going to be difficult. Your research and information is always greatly appreciated.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9908 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . I've already checked my usual sources of NOS parts (eBay, Parts House Clearance, Mopar Mall, Hiltop and Len Dawson Mopar) and none of them have a 1674 744, hence my suggested sources of used parts. Good luck.
