The second pressure switch (mounts on underside of master cylinder) has failed since I've owned this car. It doesn't get driven that much, so I'm assuming just garbage pressure switches. Does anyone know of a pedal mounted switch - aftermarket, or modified oem that they've had success with.
On a related not this winter I'm installing the front disc conversion kit, and (sorry purists but I drive with kids in back seat) I would like to convert to a dual pot master (power). Has anyone found a replacement that works with the existing power booster?

Thanks
Julian

and fwiw I did try the search feature, but it seems to just stall and do nothing - does anyone have success with the Search, or is it just broken?

I have a disk brake conversion with dual master on my 1960 Saratoga. I installed a switch inside the car that contacts the push rod knuckle. I used a 1962 Chrysler mechanical switch, ran the wires back through the firewall and connected to the switch. I had to make an adapter to mount it.

If you don't have a hemi engine, then you can use the Mitsubishi Fuso remote master cylinder that I use. No adapter required, just oblong the holes on a mill to get it to mount. But it won't fit with the hemi valve covers. I used a different one on my hemi New Yorker, but don't know where to get more of them, unfortunately.

1.25" bore would likely be too big, but those look very promising. Thanks for posting them! I would bet that the hole pattern is likely hte same as the Mitsubishi master - requiring some massaging to make them fit. I wonder if 90 degree plastic reservoir nipples are available separately to replace the vertical ones...

Edit: I found this one, but the price for two at $30 is about $25 more than they should cost.

Here we go. this one is a much more reasonable price. I don't know if they are the same size, but hopefully, they were smart enough to make them compatible.

I thought 1-1/8'' was normal. I also showed a 1-1/16'' unit. And 1-1/4''. what bore is normal for a power brake setup? 1''? Those top caps should work! I was only looking for left side fittings as they would not interfere with the Hemi Valve Covers and would be easier to work on. Tilton Parts: https://tiltonracing.com/product/remote-inlet-adaptor/

Yes, 1.125 is the stock size. I just purchased one of these 1 1/8" masters that you posted. I'll check it out in terms of what is required to make it work, and if the horizontal inlets will work on it. Stay tuned.

I received the master today and it is shorter and lighter than I expected. Only 1 1/2 lbs. The Mitsubishi iron master is just under 4 lbs and is lighter than a dual port stock master. Those are probably around 7 lbs, but I didn't weigh one to be sure.

Also it's only 6.06" long. That makes it so it might just get up to the end of the hemi valve cover in the car. That's really short for a dual port! With this master, it's possible that you might not have to remove it to pull the valve cover. But it's close, so hard to tell for sure. I was correct in assuming that the mounting holes would have the same hole pattern as the Mitsu master. They are 75 x 45 mm. So you will need to mill them out to 3.25 x 1.75" before you could mount it. The iron masters have no issues in doing this, and I use a good washer on them to distribute the force. Hopefully, the aluminum master will work just as well like that. Maybe use a larger washer, bent on one side to be sure.

I measured the outside diameter of the plastic inlet connectors. 1.22" on the new aluminum master and 1.15" on the Mitsu master. That's not the same, but perhaps the ID is closer? Nevertheless, it's close enough that I'm sure I can make something work. I haven't ordered the plastic inlets from summit yet. I'm waiting to gather up a larger order of other parts first. Overall, this looks like very promising for the hemi motor with power brakes.
