| I have asked this before long ago.
Is there any replacement head liner replacement material
available for 60/61s Plymouth/Dodge coupes
or 60-64 wagons?
Just got in a 69 coronet wagon and noticed it had the same material.

| are you looking for OEM exact? Convert to vinyl is much easier...
you could glue perforated vinyl to a melanine board for a similar look...
no one makes them... i was looking at production but it was going to be crazy cost...
The machine alone was around 30k to perforate... and it wouldn't match. |

Location: So. Cal | My '70 Satellite wagon uses them too. I collected a number of panels from other wagons and have enough to put them all back in, but gave up on it. The problem is that they just hang there and are made of cardboard material. When it gets humid, they start to sag. Over time, they don't stand a chance for staying up there unless you always have it in a climate controlled atmosphere. The fragile plastic strips aren't helping the matter either and aren't quite wide enough to really support them when they start to sag. So I am just going to convert it to vinyl instead. |

What’s needed to convert from cardboard to vinyl headliner?
Or do you just use the cardboard headliner bows? |

I'm not certain, but I think you have to make your own bows out of bent rod and attach them to the sides of the inner roof. A vinyl headliner wouldn't use the original plastic bows, although I guess you could do it that way if you could get the plastic to snap around the vinyl without breaking it. |

Location: Ramona, CA | Punching the holes is just one of the problems. They also have a texture stamped in, as well as a pattern printed on them. I'm trying to preserve the ones in my 1960 Chrysler T&C. Have to replace the rear most one due to mouse damage. I got one from a '64 but have to cut a hole for the window switch.
I don't know how many different patterns there might be for the various models and years. I've seen headliner conversion kits on Ebay but don't remember if they came with bows.

Location: Tampa, FL | I bought one of those vinyl conversion kits off of eBay for a 58 Plymouth 2DHT. It wasn't cheap, but it did come with bows. |

You may recall that this same subject was posted over on the C-bodies forum.
From the info contained in that post one of the members provided original panels from a Dodge Custom 880 wagon (which as you know would be the same for all the wagons including 60-61 Plymouth) to the company REM and they already have the cardboard headliner material available.
