Could someone help me Decode this tag from my 1959 Chrysler NY?
It has tons of options but i want to know what it came with and what the original color is

SG= 1: Solex Glass (green tint)
EW=4: Electric Windows
SCHED: Can't read the Scheduled build date

SCHED 0612 = Scheduled on June 12, 1959
BODY 553 = Chrysler (5), New Yorker (5), 4 Door Sedan (3)
TRIM 301 = Blue Vinyl and Blue Babylon Jacquard Cloth

SG = 1 code means Accessory Group No. 1, I guess. SG is not a Solex Glass abbreviation, but Special Group (Accessory Group)
For New Yorker models this group includes:
345 = Heater
402 = Left Outside Rear View Mirror with Remote Control
406 = Accessory Package A: 306 = Door Guards, 382 = Rear License Plate Frame, and Vanity Mirror (no code)
441 = Music Master Radio

This car has equipped with Solex Glass at all window areas, but “SG” slot is empty…

I am guessing that because New Yorkers were the top of the Chrysler line (if you ignore Imperials), they all came with Solex Glass (SG) and therefore,
based on the body code, the line workers knew that it got Solex Glass.

I would also suspect that on the other hand, for Windsors, Solex Glass was optional and therefore the they cowl data tag had either SG blank/nothing = clear glass or SG 1 = Solex Glass so the line workers knew what they needed to add, glass-wise.

Pure speculation I know, but I think the argument is valid.

On a slightly different note, did no one notice that this cowl data tag was from a LA plant built car? (The M1 to M9 and the masking tape mark are the give aways)

Sadly I dont, though it seems like i can get this from Chrysler still? I only recently bought the car so i dont have much on it

That seems to ring ttrue here as the Car has the Solex glass too.

All the options that are present on the car right now are
Power windows, pwr steering, power brakes, 6 way power bench seat, day night mirror, Window washer system,
and the two big ones...
Auto-Pilot and Factory AC

That seems to follow what ive found behind the tailights and under the carpet.

Looks like I might be Straying from the factory colors then BC that might be the most boring color combo ive seen in a while haha. and the car has ( whats left of) a blue interior.
I think maybe Ill favor the normandy blue lol

Factory ’59 New Yorker Sedan Gray Babylon Jacquard Cloth; shown in Gray (code 304);
You car has same pattern cloth, but in Blue (code 301)…

Location: Springfield, MO		Yes, you can get your build card. It has gone through a few names over the years, like FCA historical services, but it is now Stellantis Historical Services I think... Danielle has been the employee responsible for at least a decade. You just need a form she sends you and a copy of proof of ownership and if available, she emails you a microfilm scan of your IBM card. Lots of info online and if in doubt, call/chat with stellantis/chrysler customer service.
