Some. Not completely. Edited by 56D500boy 2022-08-18 5:19 PM (57-58WindshieldPNs.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 57-58WindshieldPNs.jpg (137KB - 51 downloads)

Expert Posts: 4042 Location: Connecticut | Assuming that you are talking about hardtop windshields, the W451 windshield was used on: 57 PDSC 2dr HT and 4dr HT 58 P 2dr HT and 4dr HT The W453 bubble windshield was used on: 57-9 PDSC convertibles 58 DSC 2dr HT and 4dr HT 59 PDSC 2dr HT and 4dr HT W452 was used on all sedans and wagons, 57-9. Imperial is different in all cases. Ron

No, Tom, the hardtop windshields are not interchangeable from '57 to '58. The '57 Chrysler hardtop roof overhang makes the windshield shorter, so the '58 bubble windshield is a couple inches taller to extend higher up on the roof. They won't interchange. I think you are correct about the sedan windshields though, but I haven't looked into interchangeability between them.

Expert Posts: 4042 Location: Connecticut | An original solex/shaded windshield had a dark green shade. You can tell a modern reproduction because it has a dark blue shade. Ron
