From the ad:

'61 Plymouth Savoy 2 door, made into a truck. It still needs finishing. It started out as a complete car, I did lots of bodywork, still needs a little more, I replaced the floor pans, has a running 225 slant six with new alternator, fuel pump, tune-up, and radiator, has 3 speed manual transmission, all new brakes, lines, and hardware, plus new gas tank.
Runs and drives around the yard. Not road ready. I pretty much have all the parts for it as it was a complete car when I got it.
Asking $2,900. Price will only go up as I will continue to work on it as I feel like it. I will eventually put a V8 in it then I'll keep it. I just have too many projects right now. I live in Opp, AL.

"Was a complete car when I got it" Unfortunately now, after he got it, it is only good for a crusher.
Stupid waste of a nice car. The 61 2 door sedans are great looking cars. Typical case of an idiot who noticed, after the destruction was done, it doesn't work. No tailgate, yeah, very usable. Maybe as a driving bathtub? Who doesn't need one?
