Location: Muskego, WI | Just bought a 1956 Dodge 270 Poly V8 for my dad, he's looking for a 4 barrel intake manifold for it. Please let me know if you have anything.
Thanks. |

Location: So. Cal | You can purchase new Offy aluminum for $488 from Hot Heads. http://hothemiheads.com/dodge/intake_manifolds/intake_1x4_241.270.h... |

Location: Muskego, WI | I was aware of that Nathan and it may come to it, but seeing that the entire investment at this point is $200 we were hoping for a more economical solution. |

Location: So. Cal | Not likely. The stock 270 4bbl is a rare beast. Better buy an Offy while they are still available. But a low cost option would be to adapt a 4bbl to your stock 2bbl manifold. JB Weld Epoxy a 4bbl flange to the top of the intake and open up the holes for it. Bolt the flange to the intake as well, just to be certain it doesn't come loose. It would be better to braze it on, but you would need a custom flange made from steel to do that. Another low cost option is to use a 2bbl to 4bbl adapter, but the performance of those is questionable and they look stupid. |

Location: Muskego, WI | He might run a 500 cfm 2 barrel Holley on it, using the adapter. He already has the carb too, so that seems pretty likely |
