Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | These are the fabric options for the Lancer. The 770 fabric is fuzzy like a velour. I think the 170 fabric looks cooler than the 770 stuff, but I don't know what the seat pattern was for it. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | This is the fabric available for the Seneca. The wagon fabric is a heavy pressed vinyl. Rather odd. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | And this is the fabric for the Pioneer. I think this one is my favorite. I'm even thinking of putting this into my Lancer. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | This is the extra cost option for the Pioneer & Phoenix. I think it's leather - it does have that leather smell to it and it would make sense to cost extra. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | These are the fabrics for the Phoenix. These are also really cool, but wow, you would need 4 different fabrics to get the job done! Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | These are the fabrics that were used in the Polara 2dr hardtop & 4dr sedans. This fabric look good and has a neat fuzzy textured feel to it, but I think I like the Phoenix fabric better. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | This is the fabric available in the 4dr hardtops, convertibles, and wagons. This is just a straight vinyl. The green sample was missing, and "Green Vinyl sample not available at time of printing." was printed on the card. I copied one of the samples and put the same green color from the other Polara fabric onto it. Expert Posts: 1479 Location: Pacific Northwest | Thanks Nathan, I had my eye on this too but the old "need" vs. "want" kept me from buying. Glad it is in good hands. Here is your preferred interior. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | Thanks, I hope that everyone with these materials will post them up to share like I am doing. Thanks for showing that. That looks great! I didn't realize the diamonds went horizontally, but it makes sense to create the effect of vertical lines. Edited by Powerflite 2020-07-16 12:01 PM

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | It looks like the Phoenix material is not made of separate materials, but a sectioned weave with the different colors coming in & out, with a thick backing underneath that is sewn into it at the different transitions. I bet that stuff isn't going to be cheap to purchase! Expert Posts: 1898 | . Found the pictures of Pioneer Sedan trim code 312, but cloth pattern is wrong and not match to trim chip showed in the ’61 Dodge book… It might be because sedan, although ’61 Dodge book shows Pioneer trim for ALL body styles… (1.jpg) (2.jpg) (3.jpg) (4.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 1.jpg (229KB - 229 downloads) 2.jpg (241KB - 225 downloads) 3.jpg (216KB - 231 downloads) 4.jpg (174KB - 226 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | Thanks for posting those examples Igor & Chas. That red Phoenix fabric is quite stunning and it's really interesting to see how that thick wagon vinyl looks like on the seat.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | I assumed the 170 Lancer material would also run vertically like the rest of the '61 Dodge line, but apparently not as this one is going horizontally. The red one is original to my 770 Lancer wagon, but I'm not fond of the squares, the boring fabric, or the boring design. The '62 Lancers had a much better looking design so I'll probably go with that, and use other fabrics as well.
