Expert 5K+ Posts: 9904 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . I wonder how much different the intake runners, etc. are on a 57 D500 325 cu in hemi vs a 56 D500 315 hemi. (??) I see the 325 intake has a different choke system than the 315 system (fed from the exhaust manifold directly to the bimetal spring on the choke (unless, like mine, it is replaced by an electric choke). Still, I wonder about the runners. (?) 56 D500 315: 57 D500 325: Edited by 56D500boy 2020-07-05 11:30 PM

Expert Posts: 1363 Location: Apeldoorn, Netherlands | It is local pickup in The Netherlands, because It weighs over 19 kilo, over 20 kilo with packing. Only option for shiping to the USA is € 236,15 https://www.postnl.nl/tarieven/Pakket/US/20-23kg UPS Expedited seems to be less: € 165,06 Edited by D500Jim 2020-07-11 3:25 AM

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9904 Location: Lower Mainland BC | D500Jim - 2020-07-05 4:19 AM Carter WCFB 2532S with date code M6 4. Taken off of a well performing D500 about 5 years ago. Interesting. I was curious about the 2532S and didn't find it listed as a 57 D500 carb. What I found was 2622S was the 57 D500 carb. I have no idea about the differences or why your D500 had a 2532S. Sorry. On the upside (?) the manifold PN 1735 744 (one of the few things where the casting number is the same as the PN) is the 57 D500 manifold. *But* it is also the 57 Dodge V8 power pack manifold (which matches the 2532S carb listing). Expert Posts: 1363 Location: Apeldoorn, Netherlands | I know about the different Carter part numbers voor the D500 4BBL. Early 1957 D500 had the 2532S. The 2622S came later. This set comes from a september 1956, model 1957 D500. Modifications for the 4BBL were released in the March 29th 1957 Technical Service Bulletin. The recommendation was to change the metering rods for the D500 2532S to the specifications of the later released 2622s. After these early versions and the change of metering rods, a part number change was needed to identify the difference in metering, hence the 'new' 2622S. The one listed here, had the service performed and has all the correct metering rods. I also have the correct March 1957 date coded 2622S tag. (also have a set of 1957 Plynouth Fury Dual 4BBL Carters, 2x4) Edited by D500Jim 2020-10-09 9:25 AM Attachments ---------------- WhatsApp Image 2020-10-09 at 14.37.35.jpeg (221KB - 123 downloads) WhatsApp Image 2020-10-09 at 14.39.45.jpeg (41KB - 112 downloads)
