Location: Victoria Australia | Who has a viscous fan clutch on their 1961 Chrysler? Was it standard on any particular model or engine size? I would like to fit one on my Newport 361. Can someone tell me where to get one or the model type please. Thanks.

Location: Ramona, CA | I took these pictures yesterday of the fan shroud on my '60 New Yorker wagon and you can see the original fan clutch. I don't think anyone has them like this anymore. Same one is used on my 300F. The 300F got them even if they didn't have A/C but on the other cars it only came with A/C. I don't know if 1961s used the same style.

Location: Victoria Australia | WOW, have read the link you put up Wizard, very informative and entertaining...lol.
I have chemically cleaned my cooling system over 8 days and have then fitted a gorse strainer with magnet water filter to the inlet radiator hose.
The housing of which has a screw top enabling easy access for cleaning. |
