Igor: The only way that I have found to do a "Table" in an html forum like the Forward Look is to put periods between each item so the spacing stays and doesn't collapse as it has above.

This is a big pain in the butt. It is easier to keep the table in Excel and then do a screen shot of the table (using Shift Print Screen on your key board). Then I run that screen shot through Irfanview to trim away the unwanted bits.

So either something like this (just a partial example):

Build Date...Casting Date...VIN............D500 Number...Actual......Additional Info
.................................................................................Number

Dec 16, 1955.......................................1003...............3.............Hunter R's

...................01/26/56..........................1862...............862.........Phil W's

(Painful)

Or this (jpg from the screen shot of the Excel spreadsheet):

Thanks for your explanation, Dave.
I understand, but still cannot do screen shot of the Excel Table in jpg file…
I can copy it just in the Word file using Shift Print Screen
Well, it is not so important... it was a onetime event…

Igor: You need to download (and use Irfanview). I use it daily (many times).

This: (and download): https://www.irfanview.com/

1. Shift Print Screen to capture what I want (whatever is on the screen that I need to use)
2. Open Irfanview (comes up with a black space)
3. EDIT
4. Paste (image appears in place of the black space)
5. Image
6. Resize/Resample
7. Select 1024/768 (good size for posting here)
8. OK
9. File
10. Save as (save the new image where you want it with the name that you want)
11. Do your forward look post and tick the [box] "Attach a file after posting"
12. Submit
13. Browse (and go to the folder with your new file)
14. Submit - the jpg will up load and show in a list on the right of the screen (repeat 13 and 14, as required)
15. Return to thread

And there you have it.

I just did that (with a bit of trimming while in Irfanview EDIT (right click and drag a box and then Crop Selection))

This format is the official way to add tables onto the forum, but I haven't figured out why it adds such a large space before the table. Weird.
Why the large space here?

I figured out the cause of the large space. It seems to not like all the returns that I gave after each TR command. So it is bunching all those returns at the beginning of the table. Eliminate them, and it goes away.

Also, there are websites that will convert your table data to HTML so you don't have to type all that out each time.
