  Location: Chattanooga | I have never seen a 413 with stampings like these. Is this a 1961 car engine? Somebody please shed some light on this for me please.

       Location: NorCal | "R" is the year code for '61 but "M" is the year code for '59. The R being closest to the 41, I'd say it's a '61. What is the block casting date? |

| MR 413 stamped blocks are 1959 year engines. First year for the 413 cubic inch displacement. |

| the second set of numbers is the 9004 engine block serial number and if it has an iron cross stamp it has over sized bearings from the factory. |

  Location: wilmington ca. | Whats the price for a rebuilt 61 413 engine no trans,intake,or exhaust? Long block more or less.
Was an HP stamping on pad done in 61?
