Not mine, but I'm happy to help this car find a new home and a loving caretaker...

Car is in Iron City, Tennessee. Seller is the 3rd owner, and did these things to the car:
New Belts & hoses
Air filter
2 years old battery
Flushed radiator
All new fluids
Replaced plug wires, points & rotor
Carburetor professionally rebuilt
Hot head hemi adapter installed for newly installed 318 fuel pump
Replaced exhaust (it had a leak so completely replaced)
New master cylinder
Turned Drums, including the drum on parking brake
New Brake Shoes, including parking brake

Unfortunately, the car must have a non-functional neutral safety switch, as the owner made the error of cranking her while in gear (and with the driver's door open). Car lurched backward, causing damage to the door and (mostly) the LF fender. That was the "final straw" and convinced the owner to baby his other 2 DeSotos and to sell this one.

I do not know the car, but received the pictures, so don't ask me for much more detail other than what I'm posting here. It's single-headlight car, manual windows, power brakes, single rear antenna, no fancy bumper guards or stone shields, clock delete, rubber steering wheel and basic horn ring, and non-padded dash. The car seems to have funky added-on side mirrors. Other than that, it sure looks like a pretty nice car. I think the seller will be taking a loss at his asking price of $8000. Please contact Mike directly at 931-724-2420 or 352-206-3434 or email at mcdornmike@yahoo.com If you DO buy this car, please let me know so that I won't be promoting it to others.

Gee, I guess the last picture (probably the most important one!) didn't make it to this post because I hadn't renamed it from a jpeg to a jpg file. I'll try again. This one shows the damage to the fender...
