Location: Eastern Iowa | That C, according to 300 club records, was originally Copper Brown metallic when new.
Go to all that trouble, and than paint the car a non original color.
There are tons of black C's and only a handfull of them the original Copper Brown Metallic!
Go figure!!
The D was originally black when new. |

| it looks like it, welding stainless to painted metal was a seriously bad idea. Really wish these guys would have used pop rivets in addition to spot welding.
They weren't forward looking on their vin attachment like rust proofing in 57 |
