Location: McCleary WA | I used s/s rivets in various lengths from Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet, Inc. (www.rivetsinstock.com). They have setting tools but I just made one out of an old punch. Balancing the assembly by myself while setting the rivets was fun... |

Location: SWITZERLAND | If your window rubber is bad, you can proceed as I did 15 years ago. As positioners I used matches. Need one week to dry through, then cut borders softly. Windows for ever centered and sealed. And use only stainless rivets. Good luck David! - SERGE - http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=23691&start=38

Location: McCleary WA | They are 5/32" diameter, in lengths of 7/32, 9/32, 3/8, and 7/16. The 7/32 were truss head, the rest oval head. They sell them in minimum quantities of 100 ea. Obviously I had a few left over, so if interested PM me your address and quantity needed and I'll fix you up, no charge. How's that for a deal? |
