Location: Chesterfield, Virginia | I found a good 59 Desoto horn ring but it needs plating. My broken one will need to be pot metal welded & plated. One FL member suggested Pauls. Any others to consider? Thanks Ahead

Location: The Mile High City | Hi, Ron - I'm not sure if Salt Lake Chrome is still in business, but they did pretty good work. http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=25169&start=1 chrome plating is not easy to find these days. It seems like they were dropping like flies a few years ago. Maybe the EPA cracked down on them? We had a great shop in Denver for decades on end, but it sold out to become a marijuanna grow house, fer the love of Pete! :wince: Paul's is world class, but their services will set you back $$$. |

Location: Western Colorado | I had some Pot metal pieces done at Superior Chrome in Houston, Texas that did good work. Don't know if they can actually weld pot metal.
www.justchromeit.com 713-899-5161 cell or 713-671-0100 I dealt with Bobby Baker.
I also had some work done at Paul's but his prices, like Mike said, are SUPER high. Their work is excellent though. A lot of the high end show cars have Paul's chrome.

I don't know if they weld pot metal, but they plated two wiper bezels that I repaired myself with Muggy Weld.
FWIW, they have two small plates of mine that they said would be done last week, but had problems with a plating tank and couldn't get them done. They cut the price substantially and called this afternoon saying they will drop them off at my house tomorrow. Good folks to deal with!
