Exner Expert 10K+ Posts: 10644 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Lower Mainland BC | Congrats. Looks great. Job well done. ![]() I can't give you much help but I can give you the link to my heater-related post in which we establish that the PN for the heater valve is 1688 946, across the board (mostly) in 55-57 at least, including Desoto. The thread includes info about the Ranco heater valves and the modern equivalent and NAPA rebuild kits and links on how to do it: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=67959&... This is the one that I bought (and it is still available on eBay): https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Heater-Control-Valve-673452-fits-Volvo-122-P... Good luck. ![]() Edited by 56D500boy 2018-08-07 9:37 AM

Let me know if you're interested in the entire assembly, I have just about all the parts. ![]() (20180807_213234.jpg) (20180807_213159.jpg) (20180807_213220.jpg) Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]()

It most likely is a Ranco H16 like the eBay one, so the $10 NAPA heater valve repair kit would work in the event that it did leak: ![]() ![]() Edited by 56D500boy 2018-08-08 8:02 PM
