Expert Posts: 1476 Location: Pacific Northwest | https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/1957-plymouth-belvedere-2-dr... No trades, the price is firm. Leaving California and can't take it with me. $32,000 1957 Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupe, Under 62,000 original miles. 100% rust free garage kept. This is the one you want. Always cared for. Not a rebuilt clunker. Drives beautifully. Stops great. Wonderfully smooth on the freeway. This is a very well equipped car. It has the following options: 2 Tone paint 301 cu. in. V8 4V Power Pack. Dual exhaust 3 speed torqueflite 2:91 rear axle for easy highway cruising Power Steering Power Brakes Power seat Solex Tinted Glass, note the windshield still has it's blue tint across the top. Bumper wing Guards Reverse Lights Wheel Covers Safety Padded Dash Radio Cigarette Lighter Heater/Defroster Includes 4 NOS wheel covers still with the Mopar wrappers. Windshield washer. The vintage California plates go with the car. I have driven this car about 3,000 miles over the last four years of my ownership. Never left me stranded, always dependable. It can sit for months and always start up with no difficulties. The locks work properly, 2 original keys. 1 for the ignition and doors, 1 for the trunk and glove box. The hand brake is in good working order. The gas gauge works correctly, but the temp gauge will not function till the car is fully warmed up. The exhaust system is in good condition with no leaks. Wipers work properly. Radio works great, new speaker. New Dash Pad. Seats just redone with NOS fabrics from SMS. The original covers were not that bad but the foam was dried up and crumbling. New Carpeting. The brakes have just been done including the power booster rebuilt from Booster Dewey. The window sweepers are still nice, the windows do not rattle. The car feels very solid and quiet. Heater/ defroster work as they should. Clock has been cleaned and lubricated. Works great. Body is tight as a drum. Windows all roll up and down easily. This car is rust free. No rot. NONE, never patched or hacked. Perfect floors and trunk pan. The typical rust issues normally found on these cars is not present. The car was repainted a long time ago, it still looks good but it is getting thin in places. No evidence of prior body work and or rust repair are present. The chrome pot metal on this car is outstanding. It shines like new. The bumpers and stainless trim have only minor imperfections. This car is equipped with its original 301 cubic inch V8 engine coupled to a push button Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission. Runs strong and quiet. No smoke. Transmission shifts as new. I replaced the intake and valve cover gaskets, tune up, carb rebuild. Runs smooth and has ample power. Does not leak oil or trans fluid. Power steering dry too. The car cruises effortlessly and smoothly at highway speeds. The cooling system is in good shape as the car does not overheat. I had the radiator rodded out and replaced the water pump. The charging system also functions as it should. New battery. Steering the car is effortless with the power steering and the power brakes work well. Tires are 3 years old with about 3,000 miles on them. Horn works. All the lights work (Headlights, brakes, turn signals, etc.) Has the original trunk mat. Original bumper jack. I have a clear title in my name. Currently licensed and insured and ready to go for a drive at the drop of a hat Edited by ABloch 2018-03-28 10:06 PM (00g0g_3YJZ5CWcZXg_600x450.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 00g0g_3YJZ5CWcZXg_600x450.jpg (53KB - 92 downloads) | ||
