There should be some numbers stamped there that will tell you for sure. If it is the white car that I am thinking of, you got a great deal on what looks like a great car. Congratulations. Expert Posts: 1497 Location: Fairfax, Minnesota | My 161 Chrysler Windsor has an original 361. Since mine was built in Canada, I am guessing that your was buit there also. I can't make a link live for some reason- but copy and paste this-owner staes it was built in Canada and has a 361. The Dodge chrome foil interior door panels are a giveaway. https://www.shannons.com.au/club/enthusiasts/crybby/garage/1960-chrysler-windsor/

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7210 Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | If your car is US built it definitely came with a 383RB engine originally. If it is that black four door hardtop with a white vinyl interior, it's a US car. How about posting some pictures? Edited by imopar380 2017-01-30 9:49 PM

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7210 Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | That's a US built car. The engine should be a raised block 383. If you look at the casting to the right of the distributor there should be a raised boss with a stamping on it. The Low block 383 or 361 engines don' t have that boss. See the attached photo the area circled in black is the boss. (raised block.jpg) Attachments ---------------- raised block.jpg (103KB - 160 downloads)

Location: North Australia | Good work Michael, you obviously have impeccable taste in cars! Two words for you......more pictures. Keen for the update on the engine model too. Maybe someone planted a B in there? Steve. Edited by 60 Imp 2017-02-02 6:18 AM
