Hi all,

I was interested to see my car listed for sale today for $8600.00 in Tucson AZ. So someone took my ad and dropped the price in half. Anyway, there seems to be more of this going on with the forwardlook and other collectible cars. There is also an ad out there for a 1957 Fury for $13,700.00, also a scam. Typically they will say they are overseas, cannot afford taxes, blah, blah blah. They promise you don't have to pay anything up front, then magically they discover you do need to send a deposit.

I know most of you are pretty sharp, but now and then a newbie may get the bug and see a "great deal". Just beware. If it's too good to be true......Best bet is to pay for an airline ticket and see the car. Cheaper in the long run.

Anyway, this ad is a scam. http://cars.oodle.com/detail/1958-dodge-mayfair-very-rare/439878114...

BTW, Car is still for sale locally in Portland, OR.

Thanks, Clif
