| Kenny--have you talked with the owner of this car? It looks like it's in really pretty good shape. Is the roofline on it a normal, production configuration or is this some sort of limo-treatment? Obviously, I don't know much about these cars, but it is surely a unique, neat looking machine!! |

They had that closed-in rear window like that, which does give the car a limo look. Very good looking in my opinion.

From what I understand, the crown on that '61 emblem was made using real gold plating, for which Chrysler paid an excise tax on. |

| Hey Kenny; the more I look at that Imperial, the more fascinated I get. It appears to be very straight and rust free--a desert car? Did you get an opportunity to check out the interior? How about optional equipment? The older looking wide whitewalls sort of hint that the car is just out of lengthy storage? Can you ask this guy if he would sell the car? Let us know. |
