Regular Posts: 90 Location: Germany | David, I think it will be very hard to find original headliner side panels in acceptable condition. Only known vendor for repros is MM. Would a detailed instruction how to make them for yourself help, along with a measured pattern for plotting out?

Only known vendor for repros is MM. Would a detailed instruction how to make them for yourself help, along with a measured pattern for plotting out? All help is welcome for sure! I have seen the "how-to" posted on another forum and thought it was a really great idea, and very inspiring, but I haven't been able to find the basic material here in Canada yet. there is no way I'll buy the MM repros, but I might try and make some myself.

Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | Still needed! Notice to members: when you take the initiative to respond to a wanted ad to OFFER something, it is VERY frustrating, after a couple of weeks of back and forth emails, including a very fair cash offer sight unseen on my part, to tell the other member that you prefer selling on eBay in the end.... So please, offer stuff that you really want to sell and don't respond to wanted ads unless you are serious.

Not sure what this means?.. Are you saying that you have those parts available or not? Because, actually, I am still in need of rear brake drums.I think he's trying to sell asbestos brake shoes on the (false) claim that modern linings will 'rip up' your drums. Don't know if he has drums. But if he does, you'll have to remove the hub from your drums, which I don't recommend. If you're looking for 11" drums, I may have a pair left over from my 59 Dodge or 58 Plymouth, which now has 12" brakes. What size do you need ? Ron

Do you have an address in the states it could be shipped to? ---John Hi John! It is the front windshield I would need. Do you have one? I'm hesitating between a good original or a brand new repro, right now. I'm going through available repros, but I can't seem to find all clear ones, they all seem to have that dark blue tinted band on top, so that is why I am trying to figure out if a good original wouldn't be a better option. Yes I have a US shipping address.

Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | mikes2nd - 2015-09-21 10:58 PM I only found clear? where did you find tinted at the top? Really? All manufacturers I contacted have them tinted at the top. I thought that was the only repro available. It's what is installed on my car now and I HATE it (I look happy on that pic below, but I really am not.. with the windshield). Care to share a source for an all clear windshield? A good original would do too. (IMG_4346dd.jpg) Attachments ---------------- IMG_4346dd.jpg (161KB - 107 downloads)

Yes I have a US shipping address. I musty have misread your want list, David! Sorry about that! I do not currently have a nice front windshield, either bullseyed or delaminating badly. I got a nice, new, green tinted one for my Fury several years ago from Southern TATES glass in Virginia, but I've been told since they are out of business. ---John

Expert 5K+ Posts: 5006 | yes Pilkington said call back in November. They will know whats scheduled for the next shipment. I think that means its on back order and they "plan" to get them again 453 and 451 but I didn't get an idea when it would happen. There are other sources though that still have them in stock but not at that price, they mark pilkingtons up and resell.

There are other sources though that still have them in stock but not at that price, they mark pilkingtons up and resell. My question to them was "Are they backorder or they simply do not exist in repro? Any plans to have some in the future?", and the answer was what I posted above. So, I do not think they will have them anytime in the foreseeable future, unfortunately...
