It looks like there may be a Suburban way in the background of your first pict? If so or if not, do you have any 1960-61 Suburbans? Preferably a 60 Plymouth? If not, thanks anyway for your time and HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! Karl.

Has anybody here actually bought anything from this guy? Same thing for me. I get the feeling this is some kind of weird joke. I called him on the phone, but got no answer... I sent two emails, then he came here and wrote that I should send a PM, which I did... but I never got an answer whatsoever, so I'm done trying. Edited by soiouz 2014-04-11 11:59 AM

Elite Veteran Posts: 792 Location: Buena Park, CA | He used to be super responsive and I have met him in person . . . really really nice guy. But I have also pm'd and emailed several times over the last month with no response. I hope nothing bad has happened. Gary had a really knowledgeable (and very old) gentleman that did a lot of the parts work so I fear the worst. Their shop/parts storage is about 1.5 hours from my house so the next time I am in the area I will swing by to check things out.

Veteran Posts: 146 Location: California | Hi Torben, Still have about 35 cars in 2 storage yards plus tons of parts off the 60 cars we parted out in the past two years. You can see some of my cars on the TV show "Extreme Car Hoarders" which is currently showing in Europe. In the USA the show is called "Rusted Development." Our family and my cars are in the 3rd episode of the season. The episode is called "HEMI Hideaway" and in the episode they build a custom 37 Dodge pickup with a new Challernger hemi and 6 speed trans. Regards, Gary I'm interested in the fenders and door as long as they are not rotted. I do need the hubcap clips. I would like at least 20. My zip code is 10312 to estimate shipping. I am also looking for a R/R 1/4 panel chrome and "Seneca" name from dash and 1/4 panels. I also need 62 Dart parts. Do you have any 62 Darts. Do you have any radio delete plates for a 60 and a 62? Thanks.

Veteran Posts: 157 Location: bountiful, Utah | Gary, I enjoyed the episode. That pickup has to be scary fast! How much of your parts collection did you have to give to them? I especially enjoyed seeing a photo of your Dad highlighted in the episode. Are you glad that you did the deal? Scott

Extreme Veteran Posts: 347 Location: Ocean Park, Washington | I'm looking for both front fenders for a 56 Chrysler Windsor 4 door. I have 2 sets now but both have different but the same problems, if that makes sense. I am watching the show looking at the hemi they brought in for your pickup as I type this.

Veteran Posts: 146 Location: California | Hi Scott, Good to hear from you and glad you enjoyed the episode. The pickup is super fast, but uncomfortable for me to drive. The episode was really about my relationship with my dad and our many years of working together on the cars. Probably shouldn't divulge the particulars, but I did give them several cars (none with fins), no parts. Yes, it was a great once-in-a-lifetime experience and I'd definitely do it again. Everyone connected with the show was wonderful and treated Sandy and I great. We had a Rusted Development viewing party at my restaurant and Rick Dore, along with several guys that built the truck came out.
