Board Moderator Posts: 3186 Location: The not-so-great, dirty-white North ( Michigan) | Doesn't really pertain to Forwardlook, but I worked on my other project car a little. Specifically its a 1972 Lotus Europa with a Renault crossflow 807-13 engine (1565cc 4 banger). Yes, its a HEMI! Worked on some conversion stuff to remove the obsolete Bosch D-Jetronic on the engine and install a more modern digital system that I can tune. So adaptor work for new TPS, plugging some holes not needed in the intake plenum, adaptor for a MAP sensor mounted on the plenum, and some other stuff. Basically quite a day in a buddy's machine shop working on his lathe and mill. Had a relaxing day, overall, and got some items completed, and a couple of others started. This evening will start charting the new wiring harness to fab up (colors, wire lengths, termination points, etc) from notes as to where all the new sensors and actuators will be.

Veteran Posts: 298 Location: Nashville, TN | The only family I have here in Nashville are the Mopar girls, Elvira (Imperial), Jasmine (DeSoto), Sara (Saratoga), and Christina (Dodge). We sat around in the backyard, played with their fenders and had a beer. Old blue (the 69 Dodge) is still under cover.

Location: Parts Unknown | I envy those who had dad's worthy of celebration. My old man was very close with his Dad, but had a serious disconnect with his own kids. None of us got too torn up when he passed. My daughter might call if I were home, and the step kids .... well, I'd prefer they not make contact until they get their lives out of the gutter. Happy Father's Day.

Expert Posts: 2119 Location: atlanta | Well hell, some of us need to start a club, I spent the entire day in the backyard with My two wienner dogs, cooler of beer and water, can of skeeter be gone, boom box, smokes, and laid in the kiddie pool i bought for them last summer, nobody came by and phone didn't ring the whole day or night. Now that I think about it, twasn't such a bad day after all !

Elite Veteran Posts: 716 | fenix - no calls, no visits, and therefore a good day - kind of funny and I get it. Just before FD went to the Auburn - Cord - Doozy museum......awesome, awesome, awesome. Twas kinda FD gift to myself! And got the old man something too. No complaints. I don't expect my twins to appreciate me until they are at least 30!

Also equates to 'zip', nada, zero, etcetera. . . . . . . . . . BUT! ! ! In some situations it may be synonym for SH!T! ! ! ! If any other questions, I'll defer to Doc for appropriate response! Location: Parts Unknown | Is it just me, or do others find the best (only) holidays worth "celebrating" are the ones where you get to just go do whatever you want ? Go fishing, hunting, long road trip, etc. ? Never could get my head around bad weather holidays where the house is full of people and stuffy air and all you do is watch TV or watch the paint age, ... Thanksgiving, Easter, New Year .... I have an idea. Let's can all those October to May holidays and just give me 4 day weekends from June to September !!!

Expert Posts: 2312 Location: Arizona | My family has an agreement that we don't give birthday gifts once you are "of age". Saves everyone a lot of headaches. No Xmas gifts either accept for IMMEDIATE family. Stopped sending out xmas cards years ago. For the big holidays we often just hit a buffet and save the trouble of all the home cooking and attendant issues.
