wizard, why are you posting all this stuff (elton john, barbara streysand, abba, etc ) here on the general discussion board? no offense intended, but i don't think it belongs here, maybe in nether region, but i don't think anyone here is interested in elton john or barbara streysand!

Maybe you've missed the point Sid - those are happenings of the day, history, death, births of famous persons. I have chose not do make any exceptions - he ll, not even I like Elton John.
Judging by the number of viewers, this post seems to be really popular. Yes, in fact you're right - the general discussion board was a wrong choice I made as a tenderfoot - now I'll guess only Fearless could move it.
The of coarse, you still have the choice not to watch the thread and not to listen to the clips.

By the request from Sid, this topic has moved to a new thread under a new name (which leaves no misintepretation possibilities) "Oldies Music Calender"

It's reverse gear in your calendar because March began again after 2nd of April.. Wise choice to move this thread to the correct region.

Thanks Mark - I must want to doubleback to the forward look! It's a pity that I cannot edit those posts but of coarse it should have been April instead of March.

I don't see what all the hub-bub is about.

It's just one thread and I, for one, enjoy it - even though I haven't contributed to it like I should. It's like a nice shot of caffeene the first thing in the morning.

Sven, I'd like you to keep it here.

Thanks Mark, but in a way, Sid is correct about the General discussions - we just don't have an "over the belt" forum here for miscellaneous. And the new name does not mislead anyone.
I will keep on posting the "music clips" and "news" as long as I see that there is an interest for it. It seems that really many is checking the thread daily.
