Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | Larry Coleman posted a new thread, on the GEN DISC board, Re: the Boydster's misfortunes at Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Trials. Last nite, I saw a portion of the TV show, where the funsters are building that particular(?) Lakes Roadster, and one of their knowledgeable former (by definition!) employees stops by & determines that the car should be built with a simpler front geometry (SO THAT THE CAR DOESN'T DO AN ENDO, on its run, which, according to Larry's posting, the car DID DO, with Mrs. Codpiece driving it!!!), and also that the car's gas tank should be installed at the front of the car, etcetc... Of course, DUH-Wayne is shown, poo-pooing those "suggestions", as being meritless, and superficial. SO, maybe Ms. Belvie has been talking to King Tut, about certain measures of retribution !!! Ultra-Uno: BEWARE the Curse of Miss Belvedere !!

Your continuous criticism of him sounds like it's coming from a child or someone with severe penis envy!! Grow up for christ's sake! Your continuous trashing of him has gotten so old it's starting to piss me off!! Can any of you claim one-tenth of the fame and business success that the guy has? Like him or not, he's a successful man and has every right to do whatever he wants without a bunch of wanna-be's criticizing his every move. Grow up for Christ's sake!!!

Was that video posted on The Coddington Website? Amazing that the car mis-handled JUST as predicted, on the TV show's episode, by a former employee, who stopped by, just to visit, with the boys. This episode Looks to be a practical example of the difference between building, and constructing, a car!

We aren't able to show ENOUGH dis-respect for those yahoos on this little website. Carjock, if you had been at Tulsa in person, maybe you could understand how many of us feel. No offense intended , but if you don't like it - you don't have to read it ...............................MOBoy, you guys really can't get over Coddington, can you? Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | Actually, though; wasn't it one vent window (driver's side), and one interior door handle ( passenger's side) ? Hey: give-them-time; they did their 'best' , on the hood and trunk lids!

New User Posts: 2 | You guys rock. I had a moment of clarity when I read this forum. I was following the Tulsa Belvedere coming out party events and surfed in here. The cod piece does suck bad and I thought he dissed the whole Tulsa party. Who in their right mind would work for this schmuck (except his ex wife and a lard ass like DUH-Wayne). I thought I was the only person who wanted to "tie him to the car and drag him". I have 2 C3 corvettes and a 63 Falcon (all verts). Feel free to insert jokes but I have always admired the styling of the early Fury cars.

Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | Charles: that is a full-on CUTE car (now: put a 289 in it....and it AIN'T so cute!) Larger question: I didn't know that Fords co-existed with Chebbies? Big M (John Fowlie) on these boards, is a Merc- Man. Edited by d500neil 2007-11-09 7:55 PM

Extreme Veteran Posts: 370 Location: Mishawaka, IN. | Yeah but we don't hold that against John he's pretty Kool, but most gear heads are. Nice falcon, but hey Neil not a 289 it needs a 390 and a 4 speed then it can be wicked. Jimmy
