This is the intersection of Cottage St, Williston Ave (the street I grew up on), Payson Ave, and Union St in Easthampton MA. My first memory of a FWLK was seeing a '57 Fury parked on Payson Ave..what a sight!

Wild guess, but I keep coming back to the idea that it's a Mercury pickup visiting from Canada.

I have this postcard with several 1959 Plymouths on it. but this one I cannot make out. Anybody any idea?

I must add this is in/on Hawaii, so, it might be some hybrid export model?

Looking at the side trim going into the front fender it must be a 59 Fury 4dr sedan

You never know where a FWDLK'er will show its pretty rear end.

This is from the 9/64 Hot Rod, and it shows a rare-now 57+ Chrysler stripper wagon (on the strip).

It might be a Plymouth-stripper, tho; note the chrome trim on top of the fin, and the bumper-end.

As this thread evolves (or is that: devolves) from the 'who goes racing' thread, I'll go post this photo,
there, with appropriate comments on the subtle irony in this image.

You can go read about Howe Caverns, but here's Secret Caverns.

http://www.secretcaverns.com/

Looks like a fun place; both are in Upstate NY.

First two ladies are married (hence their smiling countenances; right, boys?).

That's a well taken care of 1-year old 'standard' Coronet hardtop model, with rubber floor mats and plastic covered seats.

Hood alignment is excellent; maybe a late production car...but the passenger's side window (and door edge?) need some adjustment.

Curb feelers and door guards; the owner was into (trying to) preserve this ride.

Wonder how long it survived, in Nueva York environment.

1960 Plymouth Fury Sport Suburban

no such thing. its a sport suburban.

That's interesting. I know nothing much about the 1960 Plymouth and based this on my findings on the internet:

http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2011/09/18/hemmings-find-of-the-day-1960-plymouth-fury/

and

http://hooniverse.com/2011/12/21/hooniverse-wagon-wednesday-a-rose-colored-1960-plymouth-sport-suburban-wagon/

Is this a fake, or was there some kind of a 1960 Fury Suburban?

The quarter emblem is correct for a Sport Suburban, but not the Fury script on the front fender.
